New Video : Lil Wayne “Something Different”

Lil Wayne has released a new video of his track “Something Different” from his latest mixtape, No Ceilings 3. In this song, Lil Wayne talks about how his relationship with a random girl has changed.

This video is directed by Lil Wayne himself, shot similarly as DJ Khaled and Drake’s “Popstar” video, featuring Justin Bieber. The song samples the beat Drake used on his latest single “Laugh Now, Cry Later,” featuring Lil Durk.

“No Ceilings 3” is a double sided tape by Lil Wayne which is hosted by probably the most famous DJs in the world, DJ Khaled. The A Side was released on November 27th, 2020 and it features guest appearances from Young Thug, Drake, Euro, Cory Gunz, Gudda Gudda, Vice Versa, HoodyBaby, Jay Jones and YD.

Back in August 28th, 2020, Weezy re-released his 2009 mixtape titled “No Ceilings” on all streaming services around the web. During an interview on ESPN, Wayne also announced the second sequel to the mixtape. On November 25th, 2020, DJ Khaled officially announced the release date of the project by previewing 2 songs on his Instagram page.

“The mixtape game seemed to be a dying art and since I am one of the pioneers of the craft, and it played such a big part in my career, I felt it was only right to resurrect it. Also, it is a lot of songs out here I wanted to kill my way.” said Lil Wayne in Complex magazine’s exclusive press release, Lil Wayne told Complex.

On December 1st, 2020, Wayne’s “B.B. King Freestyle” was released on every streaming services, including Spotify. You can listen to “No Ceilings 3” mixtape below:
