These days hip hop artist Snoop Dogg and American retail businesswoman, writer, and television personality Martha Stewart may be partners in crime, they were both expelled from the United Kingdom. This cases, however, occurred around the same time.
In Snoop’s case, in 2006, American rapper was arrested for violent disturbance at London’s Heathrow Airport. He and 5 others got into an altercation that injured 7 police officers. He had to cancel his UK tour and he was denied a visa to the country after the incident. Fortunately for musician, The guard reported that his lawyers appealed the ban and he was finally re-admitted in 2010.
The UK Border and Immigration Service stated that the government would not allow entry into the country to anyone convicted of “serious offenses abroad” Independently. At that point, Martha Stewart was denied entry to the UK due to her previous criminal conviction, which resulted in her canceling an engagement in London in 2008. It looks like things must have been resolved by now.
