21 Savage was almost deported from States in 2019 here’s why

Bank Account rapper had a drug conviction felony from 2014, which is said to be sufficient to expel an undocumented person out of the country.

One year has passed since 21 Savage’s famous arrest by United States immigration officials . Atlanta-based rapper for allegedly overstaying his visa, faced deportation and a 10-year ban from returning to U.S.

The Slaughter King had convinced his fans that he was an Atlanta native, when in reality he was born in the U.K. and moved to the states in 2005 with his mother. While in custody, before he received legal support sent by Jay-Z,  21 Savage was intimidated with deportation from USA as his future in the county was full of doubt.
Joseph’s lawyer, Charles H Kuck, challenged the motive behind rappers arrest, with vocalized public statement to make it known that the arrest was “based upon incorrect information about prior criminal charges.” he said , “As a minor, his family overstayed their work visa, and he, like almost 2 million other children, was left without legal status through no fault of his own,”
Days after his arrest, Savage was released from US custody on bond before his hearing, which has since been delayed on several occasions.
