Canadian punk-rock musician Avril Lavigne is teasing a collaboration with singer and rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Lavigne shared photos of her with MGK, and Mod,, in the studio as they posed in front of a drum kit.
asking fans: “So are we ready for new music in the new year or what? Lemme know.”
Machine Gun Kelly responded with emojis in the comments, including an emoji of a person raising their hand.
Avril has spent the past few weeks in the studio working on her new (7th) album, which is being produced by John Feldmann. After a person asked, “Best album yet?” in the comments, Lavigne replied, “duh.”
Back in January, We The Kings frontman Travis Clark revealed that he had been working with MGK and Avril for her new album, which is set to be released in 2021.
