Kodak Black’s request for shorter release has been denied

23 years old incarcerated rapper Kodak Black has been trying to get out much earlier than his scheduled date.

According to latest reports the Florida based rapper has requested to be free from jail before his already decided date which is November 2022.

In this week’s court records filed prosecutors have denied rapper’s requests as Kodak wrote “With all due deference, I come in truth.I acknowledge my mistakes and I take full responsibility for my actions. I am not a evil or demented person. I am salvageable and I have the ability and potential to live a prosperous and positive life.”  To this request assistant Attorney of U.S responded

“Kodak Black) has not presented ANY reason supporting his request for release. He merely states he is not an evil person and promises to participate in community-based programs aimed at helping the ‘younger generation.’ That simply is inadequate pursuant to the statute.”

Kodak has been behind bars since 2019 for weapons possession and was sentenced to almost four years in prison. Just last month he released new album titled “Bill Israel” with features from Jackboy, Tory Lanez, CBE, Gucci Mane and Lil Yachty.
