Lil Wayne receives court date for a gun charge

Lil Wayne was pleaded guilty in federal court for illegally possessing a loaded weapon while traveling to Miami on a private.

This incident took place in last December. According to TMZ. He is now facing up to 10 years in prison. Police recovered Vape cartridges that featured Lil Wayne’s face on the boxes.

Weezy’s chef, who was traveling with the rapper, had about $20,000 in cash in his possession, according to the authorities at the time.

Police had said that they found a gold-plated Remington 1911, .45-caliber handgun loaded with 6 rounds of ammunition. Police also claim they found a bag containing personal use amounts of cocaine, ecstasy, and oxycodone. Federal agents searched Wayne’s plane upon landing at Miami-Opa-locka Executive Airport following a flight from California on Christmas eve.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams gave Wayne a new sentencing date of March 3rd 2021,Earlier this week after the request was made by Wayne’s lawyer, Howard Srebnick, to push back the date in order to better prepare for the case.
