The Brodie Lee tribute show may affect AEW using Snoop Dogg

This year in November 28, there was a boxing match contest between two boxing legends: former undisputed heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson and former four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr.

The fight was noted on social media for the commentary provided by Snoop Dogg, who some pundits described as having “won” the night through his funny commentary and reactions.

After that, Snoop was advertised to appear on AEW New Year’s Smash night 2. That date will now be the first week of the two episode special event. The company made the decision to dedicate this week’s episode to Brodie Lee – he was a professional wrestler and actor.

Dave Meltzer said that AEW is taping their January 13th episode on January 6th. They could use Snoop Dogg on the first or second night of New Year’s Smash.

“The January 13th episode they are taping on January 6th, so they could put Snoop Dogg on the January 13th show if they are taping it on that day. Obviously Snoop Dogg has a busy schedule, and you can not just move that around.”
