Eminem explains his apology to Rihanna on “Music To Be Murdered By” side B

Eminem made an appearance on NYE special Shade 45 to talk about his new release “Music To Be Murdered By” Side B (Deluxe) hosted by Gray Rizzy.

In the interview, Eminem tells the story behind the lyrics aimed at Rihanna from his unreleased track “Things Get Worse” and his apology to her on the track titled “Zeus”.

The Detroit Emcee says, “Honest to God, I told Paul this when it first happened. First, I do not know how somebody got it. Second of all, I have zero recollection of even remembering doing that verse. Like, the rhyme schemes did not even sound familiar to me, so I was caught off-guard. It was most likely recorded during the early stages of working on Relapse album.”

Eminem continued, “I’m not making excuses for it. I said it, and I was wrong for saying it. It was fu*king stupid.”
