Juice WRLD released Legends Never Die in July, 2020 and gave hip-hop its biggest debut week of the year. The album sold 497,000 units in its first week. Juice sold 299,000 pure albums in the US in 2020 making it one of the highest selling albums of 2020.
Eminem released the side B (Deluxe Version) of his 11th studio album “Music To Be Murdered By” which was released on January 17th last year. The surprise album sold 279,000 units in its first week. Eminem sold over 290,000 pure copies of MTBMB in the US in 2020 just behind Legends Never Die making it one of the highest selling albums of 2020 and second highest selling hip-hop album.
