Ashanti and Keyshia Cole’s VERZUZ battle, which originally was scheduled for December 12 has been postponed again. The rising new coronavirus variant numbers and the unstable events in Washington D.C. are reasons for postponement. An exact date has yet to be announced.
On January 8, the Verzuz Instagram account shared a post
“This has been an emotional week, In addition, as COVID-19 numbers continue to increase, safety is a top priority for us. As much as we enjoy having everyone together in the same room, the protect the artists and everyone who works with us in putting shows together, we’ll be going back to separate locations for a bit. We’re excited for the next few events, and look forward to getting back to the show in the coming weeks.”
The first time Ashanti and Keyshia Cole’s VERZUZ battle was postponed, it was because Ashanti tested positive for COVID-19.
