Nicki Minaj agrees to pay $450,000 in Copyright Lawsuit to Tracy Chapman

Nicki Minaj sampled Tracy Chapman’s “ Baby Can I Hold You” in her leaked song “Sorry”, now the dispute has been resolved between Nicki and Tracy.

Pitchfork reports, According to the documents filed in federal court in California, Nicki offered Chapman $450,000 including all other costs and attorney fees.

Tracy Chapman filed a lawsuit again Nicki Minaj in October 2018, when her album Queen’s leftover track “Sorry” was leaked.

Reportedly Nicki Minaj is also being sued for $200 Million over song from her last album Queen featuring Lil Wayne “Rich Sex”.

New York rapper that has been close to Nicki Minaj over the years, Brinx Billion files a lawsuit against the Anaconda hitmaker. Nicki is being sued for $200 Million for stealing the song from Brinx and not giving him proper credit on “Rich Sex” featuring Weezy.
