Peanut Butter Wolf, the founder of Stones Throw Records revealed that MF DOOM and Madlib’s sequel to “Madvillainy” was 85 percent done and it could be released for fans in the future.

While talking to Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds on the new episode of their podcast Peanut Butter Wolf said, “DOOM was always telling me ‘It’s 85 percent done, it’s 85 percent done.’ That was the magic number,”

Wolf explains that MF DOOM sent him 11 songs and insisted him to hold the release to let him record few more songs.

Peanut Butter Wolf said, “I got a little frustrated, and I was just like, you know, ‘It’s gonna happen when it’s gonna happen.’ I don’t wanna be the guy to force creativity or anything”.

He continued, “I don’t know what we’re going to do with those tracks, probably the first person I looked up to that I actually started working with.”
