A$AP Rocky announces Yams Day 2021 and it will be different.

Lord Flacko has announced that the annual Yams Day will be back this year too. Because of a pandemic, it will be hold virtually on January 18th.

Rocky posted a teaser video, where he  made the announcement about the event. In the Instagram post he is on the streets of New York interviewing random individuals and a dog about Yams Day. A$AP boys also mentioned that they’ll be giving awards, with their own version of the Grammys called the Yammys. “You better come to motherfu**in’ Yams Day,” declared A$AP Ferg. “We gon’ kick ya motherfu**in’ ass.”

A$AP Mob has been in the studio working on different new music. Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky purged all of his content on Instagram, which started speculations that an album announcement will soon follow.

Yams Day has become tradition after the death of the late A$AP Yams in 2015,he was a co-founder of the collective. Event has included performances from artists like Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, and more.

Last week, A$AP Mob Twitter account shared a photo of the group with A$AP Yams’ mother, Tatianna Paulino, and stated that “something special” was coming.
