Following the death of MF DOOM, the legendary rapper’s music saw a huge increase in sales.

MF DOOM received massive number of streams from the day his death was announced, December 31st to January 5 (25 Million streams).

As per Billboard reports, MF DOOM’s sales are increased by 870%.

The cause of DOOM’s death has not been revealed so far. In a Statement issued by his wife Jasmine while announcing his tragic death, she expressed how important figure was the rapper to their family.

“The greatest husband, father, teacher, student, business partner, lover and friend I could ever ask for,” the statement reads. “Thank you for all the things you have shown, taught and given to me, our children and our family. Thank you for teaching me how to forgive beings and give another chance, not to be so quick to judge and write off. Thank you for showing how not to be afraid to love and be the best person I could ever be. My world will never be the same without you.
