Trump pardons death row records co-founder after push from Snoop Dogg

As you know, Snoop Dogg was trying to get President Trump to pardon Death Row Records cofounder Michael “Harry O” Harris. Yesterday, (on January 19) the New York Post reported Trump had commuted Harris’ sentence. January 19 was president Trump’s last full day in office.

Harris, was convicted of attempted murder and kidnapping in 1988. He is currently being held at a Federal Correctional Facility in California. Harris was originally set to be released from prison in 2028.

Hip hop legend was told of the decision Sunday and shared a message with the outgoing president.

“That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out,They did some great work while they was in there and they did some great work on their way out. Let them know that I love what they did. It is amazing what the work of God can actually bring to life to make people understand that there is a God.” – said Snoop.
