Lil Wayne took to Twitter to thank Donald Trump for presidential pardon.
“I want to thank President Trump for recognizing that I have so much more to give to my family, my art, and my community. I also want to thank @bradfordcohen for working so diligently to secure another chance for me. Love!”, wrote Lil Wayne.

Lil Wayne was pardoned by Trump on Wednesday along Kodak Black. The attorney of both Lil Wayne and Kodak Black confirms XXL that Donald Trump has officially pardoned Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.
“President Trump and his administration have been tireless advocates on behalf of the African-American community,” Bradford said in a statement. “These pardons is [sic] a perfect example of this administration following up on its reforms and commitments. Thank you to President Trump for his advocacy and dedication to justice reform”, said Bradford Cohen.
Lil Wayne was pleaded guilty in federal court for illegally possessing a loaded weapon while traveling to Miami on a private jet in December 2019.
