Tory Lanez demands permission to speak publicly about his case involving Megan Thee Stallion

Last week when fake news circulated that charges on Tory Lanez shooting Megan Thee Stallion had been dropped, the 25-year-old rapper went furious on Twitter as she send multiple tweets regarding how Tory and his team are circulating fake news and giving her emotional trauma.

Without taking Tory’s name Megan wrote “B**** you going to jail” (see above). Now as of the latest reports Tory has filed a motion in court seeking the right to publicly comment on the case as he said in documents obtained by Page Six that the current order  “jeopardizes his right to a fair and judicial proceeding.” Tory Lanez’s attorney also mentions in the document that there has been new evidence found in the case which can change the course.

This evidence — including gunshot residue implicating others — is mitigating, if not exculpatory, and casts serious doubt on the claims made by Megan the documents state. In addition to the scientific evidence, the People are aware, witnesses who observed the alleged events also provide information that implicates others,” states Tory’s lawyer in documents submitted to the court.

Elsewhere in the doc, it states that Tory also worries his silence might make it look like he’s conceding what Megan says is true. Right after the news broke out regarding Tory Lanez’s filing request in court, Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer also fired back in the comment made to Page Six as he says  “Did the motion fail to mention that there was gunshot residue on his hands or that he texted her ‘Sorry?’ I haven’t had a chance to read it.”
