On their latest interview with Hollywood Life, Hip-Hop couple Papoose and Remy Ma discuss former’s retirement plans. Papoose who’s 42 years old revealed he will be quitting rap after 2021 to focus on his family, kids.

“I’ve grown in life. I’m in a different space in my life now. I’ve honestly gave a lot of a lot of the years of my life to music, and you know, so many people who wanted to see me be successful music, they’re not even here anymore,”

Remy Ma who’s a rapper herself and a media personality too, disagreed with Papoose and even bet $1000 that her rapper husband won’t be retiring .

“I believe that he wants to focus on his family. I believe everything about losing really close people, but he’s lying. Like, I’ve watched Fat Joe do the same thing and then he comes out of nowhere with a gay dating west yorkshire

Pap who has been in rap game for over 15 years also said he feels turned off by today’s music industry

“I’m over it. It’s watered down. When I came into this thing, it meant something. It was about talent and craft and spreading the good word. It’s not about that anymore”

Papoose has released new songs “Cobra Scale” and “Obituary 100” earlier this month and back in October, he dropped his latest LP “Endangered Species”, which saw 12 tracks and additional features from Conway The Machine, French Montana, Nigel Hall, and DJ Premier.
