Drizzy showed love to fellow Toronto musician
For an artist, the Super Bowl Halftime show is the biggest event on Earth, and on Sunday night, Weeknd made the most of his 12-odd minutes, presenting a meticulously choreographed, technologically spectacular set that not only lived up to some of the most popular performances of the past, it also touched on songs and visuals from all over his decade-long career, and he did it under strict pandemic restrictions.
R&B star had immense support from home city even before the show, as Toronto mayor declared February 7th as The Weeknd ‘s day. During the performance Drizzy seemingly supported fellow Canadian via Instagram stories, singing along with some of the words.
