Nas Previews new song releasing this Friday : Listen

Queens finest Nas is about to start his 2021 with a brand new song releasing this Friday. Just few hours ago Nas took to his instagram and shared a new snippet with writing possible title of the song “EPMD”. Nas also tagged his “King’s Disease” collaborator producer Hit-Boy with whom he previews the upcoming song while jamming in studio.

EPMD is a hip-hop duo from New York which includes members PMD aka Parris Smith ( Parrish Making Dollars) and Erick Sermon. Nas might be paying tribute to the group or the acronym’s meaning will be a whole different thing, whatever it is we will find it out this friday. Listen to the snippet below:

Hit-Boy who has produced entirety of Nas’ GRAMMYs nominated album King’s Disease called his production on the album his best since 2011’s Watch The Throne. In the same interview Cali producer was asked if there’s any song left off in the final product of the album to which he replied

“We had a bunch of ideas, we really tried to narrow down the tracklist. It was originally an extra song on there we ended up taking off last minute because it was more cohesive without it. You never know what the future’s going to hold.
