The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” is officially the biggest charting song of 21st century. The “After Hours” single has officially been crowned the biggest Billboard Hot 100 chart hit of this century.

The song has spent over one full year on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, with 50 weeks inside the Top 10 passing other mega hit songs like Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” and Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.”

Last night’s Super Bowl performance has also boosted the sales of “Blinding Lights” as the song returned to the #1 position on iTunes, marking a huge uptick in streams as well.
