The Weeknd, whose “Blinding Lights,” has just been officially named the biggest hit song of 21st century, has reached another milestone on the biggest streaming platform, Spotify.

The Canadian megastar’s “After Hours” album has just hit 4 billion streams on Spotify, making him the only artists to reach that accolade, regarding albums that were released in 2020.

“After Hours” also marks The Weeknd’s 3rd album to reach 4 billion, including “Starboy” and “Beauty Behind the Madness.” He has also set the new Spotify record last week, as his greatest hits album β€œThe Highlights” became the most streamed album of all time on the platform with over 12 billion total streams in total.
