Meek Mill apologizes to Vanessa Bryant over Kobe lyrics

In his unreleased song, which features Lil Baby, Meek Mill has caught heat online for his rap line about the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, what many considered to be disrespectful and tactless.

“If I ever lack I’m going out with my choppa, it be another Kobe,” Meek raps.

Mill faced backlash on social media.

Shortly after, Kobe’s wife Vanessa Bryant responded to the lyrics and Meek recently revealed that he has apologized in private.

“I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public…Nothing I say on my page directed to a internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman! If you care about someone grieving change the subject!” – the Philly rapper tweeted.
