Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak to release a joint album

Two multitalented singers Bruno Mars and Anderson. Paak are joining forces for a new joint album. Today both artists took to their social media to announce they have formed a new band called “Silk Sonic” and the first single from their upcoming joint album will arrive next Friday i.e. 5th March.

Anderson .Paak wrote on his Instagram  announcement “WE MADE AN ALBUM!! YALL GET THE FIRST SONG NEXT FRIDAY” and Bruno wrote on his announcement post “We locked in and made an album. The band’s called Silk Sonic. First song drops next  Friday”. From the artwork shared by both artists it seems like album’s name is “An Evening With Silk Collins” and only guest feature will be Funkadelic member Bootsy Collins.

Bruno Mars dropped his last album “24K Magic”  which brought him Grammy’s Album of the year ,almost 5 years ago.  Since then it has been no show for the 36th old year musician. Meanwhile Anderson. Paak’s last studio album Ventura was released 2 years ago but the Aftermath signed artist has dropped multiple songs in 2020 one of which Lockdown has earned him two Grammys nomination in categories “Best Music Video” and “Best Melodic Performance”. It’s also notable that Anderson .Paak opened for Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour back in 2017.
