Rap game has been in jubilant, celebrative condition since Bobby Shmurda’s long-awaited release from prison earlier this week. 
After several years of rumors about early paroling, Bobby Shmourda was officially freed from jail on Tuesday morning. The Brooklyn rapper spending the last six years of her life behind bars due to gang charges. 

 When news of Shmurda’s pending release emerged, and on Feb. 23, the day it happened, Shmurda’s music as leading artist totalled 3.7 million U.S. on-demand streams, up 624 per cent from the previous two-day period, Feb. 20-21, when its streams totalled 507,000.

His streams jumped 264% from 288,000 on Feb. 21 to 1.1 million on Feb. 22. They then surged by 150% to 2.6 million on Feb. 23, the day of his release.- according to billboard.
