Fred The Godson’s estate releases the posthumous album “Ascension”

Last year, one of COVID-19’s casualties of 2020 was veteran Bronx rapper and Class of 2011 XXL Freshman, Fred The Godson. On April 23rd, 2020, Fred lost a battle to coronavirus, but his team along with his fans and family have all worked together to ensure that the rapper’s legacy continues to live on.

Yesterday, Fred The Godson posthumously released a nine track project, titled “Ascension,” with songs hand-selected by his brother, called Russ. The album boasts production from The Heatmakerz, which makes the project even better. There is no guest appearances on the album.
