YFN Lucci and PnB Rock fined for stealing “Everyday We Lit” from Rackboy Cam

One of the hit songs from 2017 ‘EveryDay We Lit‘s artists YFN Lucci and PnB Rock had to pay heavy amount in a copyright infringement . New Jersey Rackboy Cam claims that his 2016 song ‘Everything Be Lit’s chorus was stolen in YNF Lucci and PnB Rock’s 2017 collab. “Everyday We Lit”

Rackboy Cam sued both artists, songs producer June “The Genius” James and their label Atlantic Records back in 2018. On March 2  issued a default judgment in Cam’s favor, awarding him $1,447,720 after PnB Rock and James, the producer, did not respond to the lawsuit. Cam will has been credited as a writer on “Everyday We Lit” , which has been certified Gold back in 2017 garnered almost 170 million views on Youtube. Rackboy will also receive royalties from the official remix of the song which was released in same year by Lil Yachty and Wiz Khalifa.

Rackboy Cam issued a statement regarding his win “I feel like it was pretty fair . I’m blessed, I’m satisfied. I feel like this is a big statement for Jersey because I feel like we don’t get the credit.”
