Cardi B becomes the first female rapper in history to earn multiple solo number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Cardi’s latest hit “UP” reaches to number one on Billboard hot 100, previously Cardi’s diamond selling single “Bodak Yellow” reached to number one on Billboard Hot 100 in 2017.
So far 5 Cardi B songs have reached to number one in the US, “Bodak Yellow”, “I Like It”, “Girls Like You”, “WAP”, “Up”.
Cardi also joins the rare club of songs with the shortest title reached to number one on Hot 100 this century. “UP” is second most shortest titled song this century behind “3” by Britney Spears.
Up also ranks among the top 10 most on-demand streamed songs in the US this year. This song was the third most streamed song last week behind Drake’s “What’s Next” and “Wants And Needs”.
It earns Cardi B her 5th career No. 1 hit, helping extend her record for the most among female rappers.
