NBA YoungBoy arrested by Federal authorities in Los Angeles

NBA YoungBoy is being held by the FBI after escaping from LAPD officers during a traffic stop.

According to sources, LAPD tried to stop YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, because he had an outstanding federal warrant. A brief chase ensued, ending when the rapper’s car came to a halt and he fled the scene on foot. Law enforcements set up a perimeter and used a K-9 officer to help find the Baton Rouge rapper, which they did successfully, according to officials . A firearm was also discovered in the vehicle

A firearm was allegedly discovered during a search of the car, but it’s unclear who the weapon belongs to. YoungBoy has been arrested several times for suspected and confirmed shootings, robberies, drug abuse, and weapons. Rapper was arrested in September while allegedly recording a music video, and he was later accused of being involved in an altercation. The Baton rouge artist was initially put under house arrest following his release from prison in 2019.

He’s been involved in a many legal troubles during one year period.
