Watch : 50 Cent sings Pop Smoke’s song

Earlier this month 50 Cent attended NBA All-Star weekend bash in Atlanta’s Believe Music Hall. Inside the packed venue when the late rapper Pop Smoke’s song “Got It On Me” was played, Fif can’t stop humming the song’s hook which sampled and interpolates his own 2003 classic “Many Men” ( Wish Death).

‘Got It On Me’ appeared on Pop Smoke’s posthumous album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon which was executive produced by 50 Cent. During an interview last year Fif revealed it was his idea to sample his songs on Pop’s debut album “When I met Pop Smoke, I told him, it was time to do my records over” tells Fif.

50 Cent also refused to take any money for producing the album, he says he worked on the album for Pop and for the culture.
