In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Freddie Gibbs says he uses fake accounts to mock other rappers on social media.
“N****s become irrelevant because they stop learning and being sponges to the game”, said Freddie.
he added, “I eat, sleep, and breathe this shit, every day. I’m looking at what everybody’s doing. I’m getting on fake Instagram pages leaving comments like, ‘That shit is wack.’ I’m doing all kinds of bullshit, taunting people.”
He also talks about his longevity in rap, “By my age, a lot of guys’ careers are dwindling,” he says. “Most rappers’ careers are over by the time they’re 30, to be honest. A lot of these n-ggas don’t make it to 30. But I’ve done the proverbial slow burn.”
