Fat Joe shows respect to his late protégé Big Pun

Hip hop veteran Fat Joe and Big Pun were inseparable when the rapper was alive. It’s been 21 years since Big Pun suffered a fatal heart attack, but his legacy lives on.

On March 21, the late rapper was honored in his hometown with a street named after him.

Recently, Fat Joe shared a pic on his IG page. The shot features Fat Joe standing solo below Big Pun Plaza.

“So proud of my brother ,God bless Big Pun BX TS4LIFE 🙏🏽❤️” he titled the picture.

Back in January 2020, Bow Wow and Fat Joe had a conversation on Instagram live. Legendary rapper was asked his Top 5 rappers dead or alive.

“Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Ice Cube, LL Cool J and Jay-Z. I was going to throw Eminem in there.” Said Joe. “I remember when Eminem’s first album came out we were in LA for Grammys and me and Big Pun waited on line, and Pun was nominated for two Grammys and he was double platinum and me and him literally, physically waited on line at the Tower Records to buy Eminem’s album.” – added the legendary rapper.
