Last night the legendary rapper from Queens, Nasir Jones aka Nas performed at The Concert To Feed NYC. The show was Nas’s first live event in three years where he performed his latest album ‘King’s Disease 2’ cuts. While performing Nas remarked, “Let’s make a difference, every day, for the rest of our lives.” .
After the performance just turned 48 years old, a proclamation ceremony was held where Nas was awarded Key To The Queens Borough by the President of Queens, Donovan Richards and Franck D Joseph. Also, September 23 was officially announced as Nas day in Queens, New York.
“Nasir Jones is not only God’s son, but he’s Queens’ son. That’s why @drichardsqns presented him with not just a proclamation, but also the Key to Queens borough tonight...” wrote Franck who shared Nas’s picture with the president and receiving Key To The City.
