NBA YoungBoy’s album ‘Sincerely, Kentrell’ debuts at no.1 on Billboard Charts!

After a very close battle with superstar Drake, NBA YoungBoy has just achieved another number one album on the charts. Billboard reports Youngboy’s chart-topping album ‘Sincerely, Kentrell’ which was released in September followed up by a deluxe edition a few days later, has sold 137K units meanwhile, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy which comes at no.2 this week has sold 135K units.

With this achievement, NBA Youngboy has become the only third rapper (previously)2 Pac, Lil Wayne) to deliver a number one album while being in prison at the time of its release.

‘Sincerely, Kentrell’ is YoungBoy’s fourth number one album following AI Youngboy, 38 Baby 2, and Top. It’s also his best career opening week in terms of total units sold. Another accomplishment from the 21-year-old rapper is he becomes the first hip-hop artist to deliver the #1 album in 2019, 2020, 2021.
