Atlanta rapper and Young Stoner Life’s CEO Young Thug’s much-awaited solo album ‘Punk’ is finally out today. Thug’s last dropped an album back in 2019, ‘So Much Fun’, which was also his first #1 album on the charts.
Since then Thugger has been delivering numerous hits as a guest feature and teamed up for a joint album ‘Slime & B” with RnB hitmaker Chris Brown. Earlier this year Young Thug teamed with his labelmates for Slime Language 2 Compilation which was later followed up by a deluxe edition and also debuted at top of the charts.
On his newly drop album Punk, Young Thug has recruited the likes of Drake, Travis Scott, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Gunna, Juice Wrld, Post Malone, Doja Cat, Asap Rocky, Future, and more. Punk was promoted by the solo single ‘Tick Tock’ which Young Thug first played at Rolling Loud, later on, he also performed few unreleased cuts from the album with assistance from Travis Barker.
Young Thug describes his sophomore album ‘Punk’ as “most definitely touching music,”. Thug also says “Its music that the world is going to embrace. [Punk] means brave, not self-centered, conscious. Very, very neglected, very misunderstood. Very patient, very authentic”
