A few months ago Charlotte-based hitmaker DaBaby was part of a huge controversy during his Rolling Loud set in Miami as he went on to a controversial homophobic rant. This whole incident followed with the cancellation of many deals and the removal of DaBaby’s name from multiple concerts as headliners.
Yesterday Dababy returned to the same Rolling Loud concert in New York courtesy of his newly founded mentor 50 Cent who brought DaBaby as a special guest during his own set.
DaBaby came on stage to perform a medley of his hits ‘BOP’, ‘Suge, & ‘Rockstar’ and told the crowd “The n**ga you thought you wasn’t gonna see on stage no more” while stage diving towards them. After the performance, DaBaby took to Instagram and shared a post appreciating 50 Cent for bringing out him on stage.
