Travis Scott shared a series of stories on his Instagram account where he talked about the tragic events that took place at the opening night of his Astroworld Festival.
The first night of Astroworld Fest turned into a mess as more that 300 people were injured, more than dozen are still hospitalized and 8 people had been confirmed to have lost their lives.
Twitter was raging all day yesterday criticizing Rapper and the staff of the festival for not stopping the show when things got out of hand.
There are multiple videos on the internet of fans begging the staff of the event to stop the show and getting ignored. There’s also a video of Travis stopping the show at one point to make sure that one of his fans, who fainted, was taken care of.
Today Travis put out series of stories on his Instagram account where he fully addressed the tragedy.
“We’re actually working right now to identify the families so we can help the system through this tough time. You know my fans really mean the world to me and I always just really want to leave them with a positive experience. Any time I can make out anything that’s going on, I stop the show and help them get the help they need.” – said Travis.

“Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured or affected in anyway by yesterday’s events…. I want to make it clear we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing ” wrote the 24 year-old influencer.
