On Nov 19th, Kendrick Lamar returned on stage after two years. Compton-born Rapper headlined the first night of Day N Vegas festival.
Right from the beginning, master MC made clear, he knows how long it’s been since he’s interacted with fans from stage: “It’s been 365 days times two since I seen you” told K-Dot to the crowd.
Kendrick Lamar’s set continued for an hour and a half and in that time, he managed to look back at his finest work. 34-year-old rapper started by performing songs from his debut solo project “Section.80” celebrating the 10th anniversary of the album. The show was divided into four acts, with the rapper performing songs from each of his four studio LPs chronologically.

Towards the end, Kendrick brought out his cousin, Baby Keem, to perform their collaborations: “Family Ties” and “Range Brothers.”

The most intriguing part came at the very end of the show where K-Dot told the crowd: “Vegas till next time. And when I say next time- Very soon!”
This last sentence left his fans hopeful that a long-awaited album is finally coming very soon and rapper’s “hiatus” is OVER!
