On Wednesday Kanye West made a surprise visit at Skid Row where he donated 1000 meals to homeless people.
While he was visiting, he decided to get on the mic and talk to people. Ye went deep with his speech. The rapper talked about his relationship with God and the challenges he goes through every day to keep his family together while his divorce from Kim Kardashian West.
“The narrative that God wants is for you to see that everything can be redeemed”– said, Kanye
He continued by admitting to his mistakes as a husband and how he is ready now to: “change the narrative”
“In all these relationships, we’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason, I didn’t know I was going to be standing right here, I didn’t know I was gonna be in front of this mic. But I’m here to change that narrative.”
He also fired some shots at E!, Hulu, and Disney by saying: “I’m not letting E! write the narrative of my family. I’m not letting Hulu write the narrative of my family. I’m not letting Disney write the narrative of my family”
Ye went on to talk about how he wants to keep close to his family despite everything that is going on in his life:
“I am the priest of my home, I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So, when I’m out the house, I’ve got a house right next to the house. I’m doing everything to be right next to the situation.”
