Adele’s latest album, “30” becomes this year’s fastest-selling album by selling a total of 838K copies. This is the largest week of 2021 for any album.

Grammy-winning singer’s big opening beat the previous mark that was set by Drake. As you know, Drake’s “Certified Love Boy” sold 613K back in September.

Adele and Drake have been long-time friends. Just recently singer admitted that she had sent her album, “30” to the Canadian rapper year before its release. Before that, in another interview, Adele even called herself and Drake a “dying breed” in the music industry. She claimed that she and Drake are among those, who came out “before streaming” and that they “existed in the old school-ness of the industry.”

“Certified Lover Boy” has been nominated for the 2022 Grammys in the “Best Rap Album” category.
