Westcoast rapper Drakeo The Ruler’s mother Darrylene Corniel has opened up for the first time since her son’s murder this Sunday. In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Darrylene has made some serious accusations at another Westcoast rapper YG.
YG was billed as the headliner of the “Once Upon A Time In L.A.” concert along with heavyweights like 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube. The concert was called off after Drakeo’s stabbing.
She says according to witnesses she spoke to, a large influx of people arrived around the same time as fellow rapper YG. “They said there were, like, 40 to 60 people,”
Drakeo The Ruler was backstage when the fight started and he was stabbed by a blade. During the incident, Drakeo was accompanied by his brother who according to Ms. Corniel “..was trying to fight, but when he turned around, he could see his brother with blood gushing out of him. He was like, ‘Did they stab you?’ It was like, there were so many of them”
Drakeo’s mom also plans to sue as she feels someone needs to be held accountable “The whole program should have been orchestrated a lot better than what it was. And there should have been more protection. Even if you have metal detectors, even if you pat them down, you let those people come in there. You had more people come in than you were supposed to. And you allowed them to jump my son. You didn’t protect my son.”
