As we enter the full final week of the year we now have the list of Best Selling Albums and Songs of the year. In an eventful year that saw the release from giants Drake, Kanye, J. Cole, and also future stars like Lil Nas X and Doja Cat. Apart from records made from said artists Hip Hop /Rap genre couldn’t make the impact like last year but still, we have some notable highlights.

• With nearly 2 Million units sold, Drake’s album ‘ Certified Lover Boy‘ was the #1 Hip Hop/Rap album of the year and #3 overall.
• Pop Smoke‘s first posthumous album ‘Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon’ was the second best-selling Hip Hop/Rap album of the year with nearly 1,5 million units sold and inside the top 4 in all genres.
• 3 albums that sold more than 1 million units were released last year ( Juice Wrld, Pop Smoke, and Lil Baby.)
• Eminem‘s 16-year-old album ‘Curtain Call: The Hits’ has managed to crack the Top 50 Best Selling Albums List
• Aussie rapper Masked Wolf‘s ‘Astronaut In The Ocean’ was the best-selling song in the Hip Hop/Rap genre with 4 million units sold also the only song from the genre to crack 4 million units.
