Reports: Black Panther 2 soundtrack will include The Weeknd, Stormzy, and Doja Cat

Marvel’s much-awaited superhero flick Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s soundtrack features is reportedly set with some A-list stars. In a new report by Metro Uk , insiders have slid that the soundtrack for 2018’s sequel will have guest features from Doja Cat, The Weeknd, and Brit rapper Stormzy.

The report also stated not only are these stars in talks to contribute to the soundtrack they are also supposed to make cameos in the movie too which according to MCU is releasing in November 2022.

Doja Cat is one of the artists who is in line to perform on the soundtrack because of her South African heritage. The Weeknd, Solange, and Stormzy are also being considered as the producers want a wide range of smash-hit artists to make this soundtrack bigger than the first.” said the source. They also mentioned that Canada’s rapper/singer Tory Lanez was also among the artists in talk for soundtrack before the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident back in early 2020.

2018’s Black Panther movie soundtrack was executive produced by Kendrick Lamar and includes star-studded features of The Weeknd, SZA, Future, Travis Scott, and more. The soundtrack was a chart-topper and went on to be nominated for Oscars and won Grammys.
