The project was first released in 2011 as an apology to fans who had been waiting for “Tha Carter IV”. Weezy is finally distributing the mixtape on all platforms, more than a decade later.
“Sorry 4 The Wait” was Weezy’s debut mixtape after being released from jail in late 2010, following an arrest for unlawful possession of a firearm. The tape was initially made accessible on YouTube and mixtape services. After “No Ceilings” and “Free Weezy Album”, this is Wayne’s third mixtape to be republished.
Fans will be pleased to learn that the tape has been enhanced with four new tracks featuring Lil Tecca and Allan Cubas.
