Atlanta-based rapper Gunna has exceeded all expectations and has beat superstar singer The Weeknd on Billboard Charts. Both artists’ new albums ‘Dawn FM‘ and ‘DS4EVER’ were released on the same day i.e. 7 January and were on the race to top the Billboard 200 charts.
Today Billboard has announced Gunna’s album ‘DS4EVER‘ has sold 150.3K units in its first week. Meanwhile, The Weeknd’s album ‘Dawn FM‘ sold 148K units in the same week and landed at #2. DS4EVER is now Gunna’s second number album and best performance in first week sales as his last album Wunna debuted at #1 with 130K units sold.
Gunna’s DS4EVER was released with features from 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Future, Chris Brown, Lil Baby, and Young Thug. Later he also released a deluxe edition and then his much-awaited collaboration with Drake’s ‘P Power’ which was supposed to release initially.
Gunna has shared a video clip celebrating his new number one album and thanking the fans.
