Whenever a trend seems to hit hip hop social media, Soulja Boy seems to jump and claim he was the first to do it. In the latest beef between Chicago rapper Lil Durk and Louisana rapper NBA YoungBoy which started after the latter’s three pics went viral where he was sending the message through $100 bills, ‘Stay Safe’, ‘Colors Mixtape’ and ‘You n*ggas gon die.’ After this went viral Durk took to his Instagram and responded in the same way. Today Soulja Boy has hopped in and reminded everyone that he was the first rapper to spell words with money as he shared a screenshot of his 2016 music video ‘Stacks On Deck’ where he spelled out his own stage name with money.

Meanwhile, fans have dug in a 2015 post from 50 Cent where the Queens rapper was spelled out ‘Broke’ with money, proving that Soulja Boy wasn’t definitely to do this first.
