Rapper turned TV host Nick Cannon has linked up with HipHopDX for an exclusive where he reflects on his three back-to-back disses on Detroit legend Eminem in 2019.
Eminem and Nick Cannon first traded bars back in 2009 when Cannon was married to Mariah Carey since then their beef once again reignited when Eminem mentioned Nick on Fat Joe’s song ‘Lord Above’ where he rapped “I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note/But that other dude’s whipped, that p**sy got him neutered/Tried to tell him this chick’s a nutjob ‘fore he got his jewels clipped/Almost got my caboose kicked/Fool, quit, you not gon’ do shit/I let her chop my balls off too ‘fore I lost to you, Nick”.
This prompted then Nick to fire back at Eminem with three back-to-back disses titled ‘The Invitation’, ( ft. Suge Knight in the Intro) ‘Pray For Him’ and ‘The Invitation Cancelled’. In the songs, Nick went on to call out Eminem by mentioning his daughter and ex-wife, accused him of being a racist, revealing that he has video of him sucking d*** of his chauffeur. Eminem then hilariously replied to this via tweet “U mad bro? Stop lying on my d**k. I never even had a chauffeur, you bougie f*ck”.
U mad bro? Stop lying on my dick. I never even had a chauffeur, you bougie f*ck.🤡

Nick has now reflected on this feud three years later as he first claims he’s a big fan of Eminem’s first two albums Slim Shady LP The Marshall Mathers LP and tells HipHopDX:
“I think there was a lot that went on there. One, the whole goal was to get him to come on Wild ‘N Out and acknowledge it. So there was a mission to it because I was like, ‘Yo, that’d be the most amazing show ever.’ It was an invitation to come on the show. But also, a little bit, what was that, 2018 or something like that or whatever, I was playing the game. In 2008, I was really upset about what he had said about my wife at the time. I was legitimately hot and wanted to fight and all. I was a different guy. So I was mad. And then I think a lot of that started to get stirred up again where the line of, I got so much to say, but I had to know this is entertainment. And there’s a mission here. But at the end of the day, I ain’t going to stand for no disrespect either.” said Nick Cannon while admitting “So in hindsight, I probably would’ve been a little bit more strategic and let maybe one or two of them linger. But to me, I showed up with a cannon to a knife fight.”
