Bobby Shmurda let it all hang out in his most recent Instagram post, which was published a few hours ago. Bobby issued a statement in which he blamed Epic Records for holding him back.
“I got a 70 years old lady running my label and i love her dearly but doesn’t let me go At allllllll” wrote Bobby referring to CEO of Epic Records, Sylvia Rhone. Bobby continued stating that he has been with Epic Records since he was 19 years old and the deal is still on even after his release from prison.
On his post which is removed now, Bobby added in the caption “this is not a cry for help, this is a message and understanding for my fans that they stopping my music and prolonging my career i been holding sh*t down doing everything on my own since.I been home it’s been ah year now i still feel like i’m in prison. and by the album is done ready to live pleeeasseee i need them to let me go”
Since his release last year Shmurda has been teasing fans with more snippets than the actual music the Brooklyn rapper has released. As of now Epic Records is yet to make a response to this statement but given the post is now removed from Instagram it seems things are not going to be good anytime soon for Bobby Shmurda.
