Kanye West banned to perform at Grammys due to concerning online behaviour

For the last couple of weeks, Ye also known as Kanye West has been posting threatening messages to now his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Saturday Night Live host and actor Pete Davidson and also other celebs like Trevor Noah, D.L. Hughley, and more who have been outspoken against him. Kanye’s mom stop tirade on social media platform Instagram resulted in him getting banned for 24 hours.

In a new report late Friday it was confirmed that Kanye’s team received a phone call earlier this evening, informing him he has been pulled from the line-up of performers for the Grammys show where the ‘Donda’ Rapper has been nominated in six categories. Sources claim that the awards show is “unfortunately” taking this position “due to what they deem to be concerning online behavior.”

Kanye has been getting support from his peers as the Westcoast Rapper The Game took to his social media and called out the award show for banning Ye. “Time & time again they show us that they only want to STEAL the culture,” wrote Ye‘s ‘Eazy’ collaborator in a lengthy post.

According to reports one of the main reasons for Kanye’s performance to be banned from Grammys might be due to avoiding the clash between Ye and Grammys host Trevor Noah who was called by Yeezy in his Instagram post.

Trevor Noah made a statement regarding Kanye and Kim’s ongoing dispute “I’ll be honest with you — what I see from the situation is a woman who wants to live her life without being harassed by an ex-boyfriend or an ex-husband or an ex-anything”. In a now-deleted post, West called the Daily Show host a racial slur.

Kanye West notably is nominated in the ‘Album Of The Year’ category for his album ‘Donda‘ apart from it the rapper is also nominated in Best Melodic Performance ‘Hurricane’, ‘Best Rap Song ‘Jail‘, Best Rap Album ‘Donda’. On the other hand Grammys has yet to confirm or deny this report but they have announced their first performer’s list for the awards show on April 3 which obviously doesn’t include Ye.
