GOOD Music president Pusha-T has unleashed a brand new diss track today but it’ not aimed at his archrival Drake or any other Rapper for that matter. Infact Pusha’s latest 1 minute 30 seconds song is aimed at food chain company McDonald’s and the diss is part of commercial for rival food chain Arby’s.
The diss is titled ‘Spicy Fish Diss’ where he aims at Mcdonald’s Fish O Fillet with the fiery bar “Fisho-Fillet is sh*t , you should be disgusted. How dare you sell a squared fish/ Asking us to trust it“.
In a lesbian dating site , Pusha-T brings up the fact that him and his brother Rapper No Malice came up with McDona;d’s iconic jingle ‘I’m Lovin It’ (Pusha mentions this is in opening bar of the diss). ”
“I am solely responsible for the ’I’m Lovin‘ It’ swag and the jingle of that company,That’s just real. I am the reason. Now I gotta crush it.”
Pusha explains, “I did it at a very young age at a very young time in my career where I wasn’t asking for as much money and ownership. It’s something that’s always dug at me later in life like, ‘Dammit, I was a part of this and I should have more stake.’ It was like half a million or a million dollars for me and my brother — but that’s peanuts for as long as that’s been running. I had to get that energy off me, and this [ad] was the perfect way to get that energy like, ‘You know what? I’m over it.’”
“I’m the first-ever fish sandwich diss ever, and I should go down in history for that.”
In the same interview with Rolling Stone Pusha also said he wants this diss to surpass his infamous Drake diss ‘Story Of Adidon’s impact. “I hope [‘Spicy Fish Diss’] has more cultural impact [than ‘Adidon’], ‘cause that’s gonna go direct to my pocket.”
